Welcome to Boyton Primary School

We are a fantastic rural primary school, located in a village on the outskirts of Launceston. We currently have two classes. However, although a small school, we are passionate in providing a rich, inspiring and aspirational education to all, in a nurturing environment where children truly are at the heart of every decision made.

We are very proud of the amazing outdoor spaces that we have at Boyton Primary. The school community has access to an impressive playing field attached to the school, with climbing equipment and outdoor learning opportunities.

Acorns/ Birch class is for our Early Year Foundation Stage children, Year 1 and 2. These children are taught by Mrs Gilman and supported by Mrs Billing. Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 are taught by Miss Kinver and Mrs Davies in Chestnuts Class.

If you would like to visit, do get in touch!

'What a lovely, welcoming school and super Year 5s and 6s. It was a pleasure working with the children who are used to expressing their views and ideas and are so supportive of each other, respecting and valuing each others characters. Really switched on and supportive staff too - it really was a pleasure to visit - thank you for having me!'
